Our Story

Welcome to the Narre South Saints Junior Football Netball Club, where fun, community, and sportsmanship come together for junior players of all ages!

Founded in 2005, the Narre South Lions Junior Football Club began its journey from a humble shipping container. Always based at Strathaird Reserve, we started with xx teams. Since then, we’ve grown and thrived, proudly fielding 10 male teams and 1 all-female team for the 2019 season, with over 220 passionate players from our local community.

We've introduced several AFL players to their craft:

  • Josh Battle (centre-half-back) for the St. Kilda Football Club

  • Connor McDonald (forward/midfielder) for Hawthorn Football Club

2020 knocked us for six, but we're back and now we have the full football pathway from Auskick to Juniors and then Seniors. We offer mixed, boys-only and girls-only teams, and we're on a mission to re-build in 2025.

Our Competition: The Narre South Lions Junior Football Club competes in the South East Juniors competition, with playing venues spanning from Noble Park to Nar Nar Goon, Carrum Beach to Frankston. Our home games are held at Strathaird Reserve – Community Parade, Narre Warren South.

At the Narre South Lions, we are dedicated to fostering a love for football in a supportive and community-driven environment, we are a family club and we look forward to welcoming you and your child!
